What the Fuck is World Law Group Talking About?

A tipster (send in your tips here) sent me a copy of an email they received from World Law Group that made a claim that rose above the level of “what the heck” and “what the hell” to defcon “what the fuck?”

In the email, World Law Group allegedly says, “Your attorneys at World Law Group are transitioning the accounting system to an Attorney Trust Account, as is now required by State and Federal law, effective September 1, 2014.”

What new law could they be talking about that is uniform across all states and the federal landscape?

The next paragraph seems to be a kiss off of Global Client Solutions and includes the statement World Law Group is adding a new “Federal Law Medication Service.” Again I’ve got to go with, “Dude, what the fuck?”

World Law Announcement

As far as I’m aware the thing that comes the closest to that federal mediation thing after searching would be the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) which is an independent agency of the United States which you can find here. But they don’t seem to have a role to play for the average consumer in a debt settlement program.

What FMCS says they do is, “The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) provides professional services to a wide range of federal, state, and local government agencies to resolve disputes.” – Source

If anyone happens to get a subsequent email from World Law Group that makes things any clearer, please forward to to me through this link.

Sincerely,
