How to Find Joy in the Midst of Financial Troubles. For Me, it is a Camera or a Motorcycle.

In the past I’ve written about how important it is to not let your debt situation ruin your life. See “Don’t Let Your Debt Consume Your Life. Take Advantage of Free Beauty Around You.”

Today I wanted to share with you another love in my life, my Suzuki Burgman motorcycle. I love to ride and if you already own a motorcycle it is a great way to get out and clear your head.

There is no reason in this world, that even in the midst of terrible and stressful emotional problems that you can’t make an effort to do something that brings you some joy. Debt is punishment enough, make an effort to enjoy what you can in life as you move through your debt situation.

There are many things that are inexpensive and fun. Love baking, make a cake. Love golf, go hit a bucket of balls. Love to ride a motorcycle and you live near Raleigh, NC, contact me. Let’s ride.

I know you are beating yourself up over your current financial situation. Everyone does, it’s normal. But you don’t need to live like that all the time. Pick a time that you can say to yourself that you are not going to worry about the money troubles. Make Saturday afternoon time with the family and don’t answer the phone or read the mail before you go out.

Find time to give a hug, or share a kiss. Even in the worst of times, there is still beauty around us.
