I’m Thinking of Using Debtmerica Relief. What Are the Ramifications? – Joseph

“Dear Steve,

I am on ssi and va disability without a job and no assets. I am 6 months behind on 5 cc for a total of $10,000. I want to pay them when I start to earn money.

If I wait to pay then use Debt America, what will be the ramifications credit wise, legally and any other long term problems?

Joseph”

I had the following questions that I’d like for you to answer before I can answer your question. Please post your answers in the comments section of your question. I’m looking forward to helping you for free.

  1. Can you provide me with the link for Debt America. I could find companies with names that were close, but no exact match.
  2. What did those company representatives tell you about why you should use their services?

As soon as you can post the answers to my questions above I’ll be able to help.

  • We have experienced a drop in income and increasing health insurance costs. To make ends meet we either ignore our credit card payments or not carry health insurance. Should we consider Chapter 13 for the credit cards?

    • Joseph,

Thank you for the link. You missed one question.

What did those company representatives tell you about why you should use their services? What was the sales pitch?

Answer coming. I just need a bit more information from you to give you the best advice I can.

      Steve
